Went shooting last week with fellow photographer Alissa Kenedy to get some sunset photos. That didn’t work out to well due to there being absolutely no clouds in the sky, so I pulled out my polaroid camera. Fortunately I can count on my sx-70 to provide me with all my photoblogging needs when I’m not feeling digital shots. Taken with impossible px680 film during the “golden hour” with my dial was set 2/3 to darken.

These photographs were taken April 24, 2011 on Alex’s birthday. Funnest day of Polaroid shooting I have ever had. All shots taken on a unmodified SX-70 with PX70 Push! Film. Dial set anywhere from 1/2 lighten to 1/2 darken (daylight to sunset). And just a quick note: I will be using the “read more” button on my posts from now on. Read MoreThis Polaroid was shot on Impossible PX70 Push! Film with my dial set directly in the middle on my SX-70. It’s one of my absolutely favorite portraits of my 100 people polaroid project due to the brilliant tones and sharpness. It was shot at Millerton Lake, Ca during sunset, which really helped bring out the colors of the background. This picture will be included in my polaroid photo book that is scheduled to be coming out January 2013, stay tuned for more details. Feel free to comment and give me some feedback!
